The Russian occupation forces in Mariupol appear to be preparing for an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was reported by the Municipal Council of Mariupol , which was conquered by the Russian army, after many months of fierce fighting, which resulted in the city being almost leveled.
Specifically, in its announcement, the Municipal Council of Mariupoli states:
“Russian builders were removed from Mariupoli and transferred to the field to build fortifications in the wider area. The occupiers are also urgently digging trenches along the Mariupol-Donetsk highway. They are preparing for an attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.”
The city council also released a video of a few seconds, which records the work being carried out, via Telegram
